The best facilitators don't wing it - they just prepare differently. Create the instructional confidence you need BEFORE the workshop or training even starts.
Your Workshop is Thursday.
It's Monday afternoon.
Your Slide Deck is only half finished.
Stickies are scattered everywhere.
You're second-guessing everything.
So, You Do What Almost Everyone Does.
Because if the slides are full enough with information.... maybe you'll finally feel prepared.
The reality is this:
Building a workshop or training session takes time and skill. Most people don't understand how many decisions must be made in order to take an idea and turn it into a workshop that's ready to deliver. Some decisions include:
how to build & sequence content
how to create meaningful learning activities
how to facilitate participation
How to integrate technology into the session
how to assess understanding and
update and refine delivery over time
And when you're constantly guessing at what to do, confidence naturally begins to erode.
Building And Facilitating Learning Is Hard Work - But, It IS a Skill That Can Be Learned.
They Prepare Their Content FOR Facilitation.
This includes:
what participants should be able to do
where discussion naturally happens
how the activities they do reinforce learning
how they will adapt if something changes
how they will know that their participants actually learned
That's the preparation you need to have a successful Thursday. 👩🏻🏫
Not because you need more slides or because you need another course.
I want you to have a way to transform your expertise into a workshop that dramatically reduces the chances of another Thursday unfolding the way the last one did.
Once you know what to prepare—and just as importantly, what not to prepare—everything about teaching becomes easier.
The Make It Teachable Co-Creation Sprint is a focused 1:1 working session designed for coaches, consultants and experts who need to transform their expertise into a workshop that they are prepared for and feel good about delivering.
Together, we'll combine your expertise with instructional strategy to build a participant centered experience that's intentionally designed for learning and that you enjoy delivering!
Most people think a successful workshop starts with organizing content or creating slides. It doesn't. A successful workshop starts long before you ever open PowerPoint. It starts with knowing how to prepare for learning, participation, and the unexpected moments that happen in every classroom.
During the Co-Creation Sprint, we're building your workshop—but we're also building the way you think about teaching. Because when you understand what to prepare, what not to prepare, and why it matters, you're no longer relying on slides to carry the session.
how to organize and structure knowledge so it can be learned
how to design for application—not just understanding
how to design your workshop for engagement and live facilitation
how to engage participants & Assess Learning in in real time
You'll walk away with a workshop that's been intentionally planned from beginning to end, so you're not trying to figure it out while standing in front of the room.

Inside The Make It Teachable Sprint
Throughout the Sprint, we'll combine your expertise with instructional strategy in a collaborative working session where we'll make decisions together, solve problems as they arise, and build your workshop in real time.
A Closer Look
Click each section below to explore what's involved in your sprint.
Your Sprint starts before Sprint Day.
You'll complete guided pre-work that gives me the context I need to understand your expertise, your participants, and what you're trying to accomplish. I'll review your responses, identify areas we need to work through, and prepare a working plan for our day together so we can spend our time making decisions and building the outline of your learning experience.
We'll work through your workshop one piece at a time—clarifying what participants need to walk away knowing or doing, determining what you need to teach to get them there, and deciding the best way for them to learn, practice, and apply it. Together, we'll make decisions about content, timing, engagement, activities, and assessment while building your workshop in real time.
Before we wrap up, you'll practice your workshop opening and facilitate one portion of what we've built together. We'll use that practice to identify anything that needs clarification, adjustment, or refinement so you can see how the plan translates from paper to actual facilitation.
You'll leave with the planning tools we use throughout your Sprint, including your completed Workshop Planning Workbook and Facilitation Guide, plus a clean, reusable copy of the Workbook you can return to when it's time to build your next workshop. Your toolkit is customized around your workshop so you're not just leaving with what we created—you have a way to repeat the process and do it again.
Your support doesn't end when Sprint Day does. You'll receive 30 days of access to the Make It Teachable Space inside The ElevatED Network, where you can ask follow-up questions, get additional guidance, and work through anything that comes up as you continue preparing your workshop for delivery.
Need more practice before you deliver? Make It Teachable includes a focused practice of your opening and a portion of your workshop, but you may decide you want more time to rehearse your full session. If so, Let Me See: Facilitator Sprint provides dedicated facilitation practice, feedback, and coaching so you can work through your delivery before—or during—the real thing.
You’ve been asked to train, lead sessions, or facilitate a workshop—and no one ever showed you how.
You want to feel confident while you’re leading—not second-guessing yourself the entire time.
You’ve tried learning this on your own—through videos, courses, or templates—but you’re still not confident leading a session in real time.
You’ve created (or started creating) training that relies heavily on lecture instead of engagement
You know your content—but struggle to structure it into something others can actually learn from
You want to build something to sell passively without caring about how it's actually delivered.
You want someone to build the training for you.
You believe covering and presenting content is the same as teaching.
Your goal is to become a professional speaker rather than to facilitate training.
Your training must rely primarily on lecture with little participant interaction.
You're designing a bootcamp or certification program that is strictly time constrained
In the field of Cybersecurity, it is rare to find an instructor who possesses both deep technical certification knowledge and the ability to masterfully execute the Adult/Experiential training model. She has a unique gift for taking material that is notoriously dry and transforming it into an engaging, tactile experience that sticks.

Secure Your Spot
Once you reserve your Sprint Day, you'll receive a guided pre-work packet. The pre-work is an important part of this process as it allows us to focus our time making decisions and building your workshop.
"Miss Koncaba always presented and explained her topics so that I could understand the material being presented. She always knew when I didn't and adjusted her teaching methods to accommodate me."
If you're developing instructors, facilitators, or subject matter experts across a team, you may be a better fit for Instructor Development Training.
Let's Start With No Doubts
Every Sprint is built around your expertise, your participants, and the workshop you want to create. Your pre-work gives me the information I need to prepare specifically for your project, and during the Sprint, we make instructional decisions together based on what your participants need—not a predetermined curriculum or one-size-fits-all formula.
That’s completely okay. Make It Teachable was created specifically for subject matter experts, professionals, coaches, and emerging facilitators who know their material but have never formally learned how to turn what they know into an engaging workshop. You don’t need prior teaching experience. During your Sprint, you’ll receive the guidance, structure, and feedback needed to work through the process with me. The goal isn’t just to build your workshop—it’s to help you understand the decisions behind it so you can use the process again.
Make It Teachable is designed around building one focused 2–3 hour workshop during your Sprint. If you're planning a half-day, full-day, or longer workshop, we can talk about the scope during your initial call. A longer workshop may require additional working time, and I’ll recommend an approach based on what you’re trying to build rather than trying to squeeze a larger project into a single Sprint.
Absolutely. Make It Teachable can help you refine, restructure, and revamp an existing workshop just as much as it can help you build one from the ground up. Whether your workshop feels too lecture-heavy, lacks engagement, feels disorganized, or simply is not creating the experience or results you want, the Sprint helps you improve both the sequence and flow of the training and how you've prepared to facilitate it. Together, we'll evaluate what is working, remove what isn't, and identify where the participant experience is lacking so your workshop feels more engaging, intentional, and effective.
Make It Teachable can be used to build workshops across a wide variety of industries and topics. You might be creating employee training, client education, professional development, leadership training, onboarding, technical instruction, a coaching workshop, community education, or another focused live learning experience. What matters isn't the subject you teach, but that the workshop can be intentionally structured around what your participants need to understand, practice, or apply. The Sprint is designed for one focused 2–3 hour workshop rather than a full-day or multi-day program, bootcamp, or lecture-based course.
Participant engagement is a skill—not something you're simply expected to naturally "have." Many subject matter experts struggle with engagement because they were never taught how to design and facilitate learning that encourages participation, interaction, and active thinking. During your Sprint, we'll look at where and how participants need to engage with your content and intentionally build those opportunities into the workshop. The goal isn't to add activities just to keep people busy—it's to give participants meaningful opportunities to think, respond, practice, discuss, and apply what they're learning when it supports the outcome.
